The whole house is being re-wired and brought up to code for the sake of insurance and usable outlets. So far we have learned that we have insulation in the walls (pile on the floor) and that choosing locations for outlets and ceiling fixtures can be challenging when you have no idea where furniture will go (and don't even have the furniture....).
