Night Blooming Cereus Blooms at Noon!

we had waiting for a couple of weeks, thinking our night blooming cereus would bloom. once the bud got really large we set up a camera to take time lapse photos over night. we took a series of photos every night for about 6 nights. when it did finally start to open the temperature was quite cool and it never fully bloomed. it wasn't until we were gone during the day that it warmed up and bloomed right at noon!
